ASUS N53SV-XV1 is the best laptop for those looking for:
1- Good CPU/Performance
2- More than the crappy 1366 x 768 resolution screen.
3- 15 inch in size.
4- Cheapest (worth the money).
This ASUS was the only one I could find that had the above and also good reviews. Since the memory is cheap, I decided what the heck? Make it 16 GB RAM. But really, I have never seen it go over 4 GB so, I expect you to do well with just 8 GB. Don't waste your money unless you find it on trees like me :)
Pros:

- Sound is OK but not mind blowing as most places say.
Cons:
- The Keyboard sucks! It took me a long while to type this coz I had to do lots of backspace. The keys are flat and you can easily hit two at the same time. I might endup getting the chicklet style, below, instead.
- Seems like the wireless adapter acts up and the speed fluctuates (not very stable). There are replacements, but will get to this later if I can type this without using backspace :)
- It's 64 bits which means some 32 bit applications might not work on it. So far, only my CISCO vpn is not compatible but could use my other laptops for that.
ASUS N53SV-XV1 offers excellent value for money. If you prefer newer model of this item, you can choose ASUS N53SV-EH72
